Buildings and Grounds Report 2008

The following repairs or improvements were made in 2008:

• Construction on the new church office was completed in early '08.
• The ladies room was renovated, complete with new tiles and baby changing station.  Thanks to Bill Lynch for overseeing the work.
• Extensive repairs were made to the rectory.  New front windows were installed, a new tiled floor was installed in the the kitchen and hall, old damage walls were taken down and replaced, all the walls were repaired and skim coated by Charles Harris, all but 2 rooms have been painted (thanks to the Jussen family!), new doors and hardware were installed throughout.  A leak from the upstairs bath was repaired and the toilet replaced by Ralph's Plumbing and Heating, and the roof was repaired correcting a leak.  The rectory was cleaned out of all debris and left over furniture. Thanks to all who helped out.
• Church garbage was removed and placed at the curb weekly by Glenn Jussen.
• The lawn was well maintained by R. Billi Landscaping.
• The church and undercroft were cleaned and maintained by our sextons, Phyllis Alexander and Anna Kerr.
• The sewer for the corner property was cleaned by roto rooter. 
• The rectory, church and corner gutters were cleaned (Spring and Fall).
• There were numerous small repairs that were performed by many different people who contribute daily to the maintenance of this church and I wish to thank them all for their efforts.
